The Bulldogs are trying to avoid the tournament’s play-in game, Nov. 7, where the bottom two teams play to advance to the quarterfinals the following day. Drake closes the regular season against first-place Missouri State, who they upset 2-1 on Oct. 14 in Springfield, Mo., on Nov. 4.
