Reduced hours at Taylor Medical Clinic due to physician shortage

first_imgThe clinic was not open as usual on January 3rd and 8th, and it is scheduled to be closed again on the 10th, 24th, and 27th. A note from the FSJ Medical Clinic explains, “Due to the Fort St. John doctor shortage it has become increasingly difficult to provide a doctor on each of the regular days there,” adding, “It is inevitable that there will continue to be days where no doctor is available.” Fort St. John has been facing a physician shortage for several months, which has led to days without the walk-in clinic open, and the temporary closure of the Travel Clinic. Northern Health is currently recruiting four General Practitioners for Fort St. John.- Advertisement –last_img
