Meghan Markle upset the Royal staff by doing this Shocking thing

first_imgPrince Harry, Duke of Sussex and Meghan, Duchess of SussexGetty ImageMeghan Markle seems to have landed herself in some hot water yet again. The Duchess of Sussex gave birth to baby Archie on May 6. But it looks like the joys of motherhood will have to wait as Meghan Markle may have to deal increased scrutiny from the Queen’s officials. The move seems to have come as a result of Meghan apparently, upsetting the royal staff by going against protocol. The breach of protocol was when Meghan Markle released a statement about her estranged father, Thomas Markle, in the lead up to her Royal Wedding. Now, it is known that Meghan Markle has had to go through some family drama ever since she joined the Royal Family and the Markle Family certainly have not made things easy for the Duchess. However, the Palace had kept silent on the Markle Family front. But when Meghan took matters into her own hands and decided to address the issue, it went against Royal protocol. Communications and statements going out of the Royal Palace are vetted before they make it to the public, so the fact that anyone could have been “horrified” from the move seems a little far-fetched. Maybe the Palace needed an excuse to watch Meghan closely.  Meghan Markle and Prince HarryGetty ImagesMeghan is already scrutinized by the media, why should things be any different at the Palace, she is a Duchess after all. Meghan Markle isn’t doing herself any favours by shutting out the press either. She is a Royal now, and a Royal needs allies, especially in the press. And in a bid to handle the press, the Royal couple has reportedly hired Sara Latham who is now Meghan and Harry’s new communications director, and is obliged to follow the orders of the Queen’s communications secretary, Donal McCabe.Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are taking care of baby Archie at Frogmore Cottage, away from the Palace.last_img read more

Later, the World Bank’s IFC fund invested about $15 million in December.Apart from the fundraising spree, Byju’s has also been in the news for its acquisitions. As a result, new structures have been put in place for content, engineering, sales and many other parts of Snap.” Snap, the parent company of Snapchat, is handing out the pink slips again: It’s laying off about 100 employees, about 3% of the total workforce, with the sales staff bearing the brunt of the cuts.Snap confirmed the layoffs, first reported by Bloomberg. It’s the social media and messaging company’s latest round of cutbacks, after letting go 120 personnel in its engineering group earlier this month and laying off 22 staffers from its content team and other divisions in January. The workforce reductions come after two years of rapid hiring, and are the result of a strategic review Snap conducted at the end of last year. Snap had 3,069 employees as of the end of 2017; a spokesman declined to provide a current headcount.“These changes reflect our view that tighter integration and closer collaboration between our teams is a critical component of sustainably growing our business,” Imran Khan, Snap’s chief strategy officer, said in a statement. “While this process has required us to make some really tough decisions, we believe that rigorously ensuring our team structure always aligns with our goals will make us stronger.” Popular on Variety In late 2017, according to Khan, “we asked senior leaders across Snap to look closely at their teams to ensure they had the right resources and organizations to support their missions. As a result, new structures have been put in place for content, engineering, sales and many other parts of Snap.”Meanwhile, Snapchat has broadly rolled a major redesign of the app in the first quarter of 2018, and many users really dislike it. Disgruntled users include celebs Kylie Jenner and Chrissy Teigen, whose recent tweets about dumping Snapchat appear to have fueled Snap stock drops. Separately, Rihanna slammed Snap for an ad that ran in the app that made light of domestic violence.Snap CEO Evan Spiegel warned investors last November that there’s “a strong likelihood that the redesign of our application will be disruptive to our business in the short term, and we don’t yet know how the behavior of our community will change when they begin to use our updated application.” For the fourth quarter of 2017, Snap posted its best quarter as a public company after launching its IPO in March 2017. The company topped analyst expectations and reported the biggest net user additions — adding 8.9 million daily active users in Q4 — in more than a year. However, Snap’s net loss for the period doubled versus a year earlier, to $350 million for the fourth quarter of 2017.last_img read more
